Solda Ski Products

Treviso | Italy

Italy-002 | Print This Position Description

For business students interested in sports marketing and having a familiarity with and passion for the ski industry, this is a unique opportunity to live and work in Italy and contribute to the growth of an international company. Solda produces many products focused on increasing speed for skiiers.

About the Organization

SOLDA ski wax has been producing race winning waxes in Italy for over 8 decades. Their years of experience and innovation have made them an industry leader.

Our most anticipated new product for the upcoming race season is SOLDA HP06 and HP06 spray. HP06 is a pure Fluor that is designed for cold snow in humid conditions (50-100%) where snow temperatures are between -10 and -20C (14 to -4F). After extensive testing by the Italian National Ski team and other ski factory teams in those conditions, SOLDA's HP06 was determined to be "by far the fastest wax". Testing in Canada has also shown that in new natural snow the HP06 will run warmer than the temperature ranges on the label.

SOLDA has also created new waxes in the F40 Top Fluor Series. These are the F40 Special waxes. Solda has found a way to add more of the same flurocarbon as in HP05 to the hard wax. The result is a wax that in low to moderate humidity needs no fluro powder top dressing.

Look for us at races across the country. WebSkis and Solda Team members will be racing from New England to the west coast.

Job Description
