Job Description

Interns will assist the incoming students in English, provide translation of documents, and develop on line university classes descriptions in English.

Qualifications

Academic Background

French, International Studies, Communications, or related majors.

Skills/Experience

Outgoing, communicative, adaptable. Liberal arts background.

Language Ability

Third year university level of French, previous experience in France preferred

Other Requirements

Computer skills.

IE3 Program Fee

The program fee* for the first term of any internship is $2950 - $3150. You do not pay tuition in addition to the program fee. Visit your University's IE3 page for details, costs for additional terms, and campus administrative fees.

*The program fee noted above reflects the anticipated fee increase that will go into effect for the Fall 2010 term and will apply to all terms thereafter.

Compensation

Compensation of approximately 420 Euros/ month (pre-tax). Interns will also have the opportunity to attend classes at the University of Poitiers without enrollling.

Additional Expense Information

Visas: Students are required to make an in-person visit to the French Consul in San Francisco. The visa costs above include the approximate cost of this trip.

Housing: Interns will have access to the student dorms at the University of Poitiers.
