Internships Details

About the Organization

The Times of Central Asia provides independent coverage of news throughout Central Asia. The newspaper and it's website are essential resources for international English-speaking people.

Our newspaper defines Central Asia as the five Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan

At TCA, our philosophy is that Central Asia is a global region undergoing parallel changes, sharing many common problems, and facing similar challenges. We do, of course, acknowledge the specificity of each country but aim to put those identities in perspective for the sake of a deeper understanding of Central Asia.

The London School, who facilitates placement with TCA is a small private organization and the city's foremost language school. It is centrally located in the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic (one of the former Soviet Union Republics), Bishkek. The London School was established in 1998 and has been gradually growing ever since.

Job Description

Students will work with the TCA in a variety of areas depending on student interest and TCA needs:
•Layout and Design
•Written and Photo journalism
•Marketing and Advertising
