Job Description
Individualized project assignments according to students background and current IIAV requirements. Possible project areas include the Black/Migrant/Refugee Women subject, the design of a new non racist, non male dominated structure of reference terms for the women's thesaurus and the post conference documentation and follow-up for the Know How Conference. Candidates are welcome to propose additional projects.

Academic Background
Women's studies, Political Science, History and other relevant fields
Skills/Experience
Solid understanding of the history of the women's movement and current issues in the field.
Language Ability
Some basic Dutch helpful but not required in the workplace. Additional major languages an advantage for the international aspects of the work.

IE3 Program Fee
The program fee* for the first term of any internship is $2950 - $3150. You do not pay tuition in addition to the program fee. Visit your University's IE3 page for details, costs for additional terms, and campus administrative fees.
*The program fee noted above reflects the anticipated fee increase that will go into effect for the Fall 2010 term and will apply to all terms thereafter.

Student is responsible for locating housing for duration of internship.
Housing can be quite difficult to obtain in Amsterdam. Students should begin working on this early and expect to spend some time in hostels upon arrival.

Students are expected to work independently and relatively unsupervised throughout the duration of their internship.
