About the Organization

Entity Green supports livelihood generation in Jordan through vocational training, affordable housing, and income generating activities such as recycling.

Their philosophy can be summed up in three points:

  1. Vocational training programs in isolation do not create livelihoods, an integrated approach is needed.
  2. Community-based solutions will always be more effective than large-scale imposed ones, as evidenced by our waste management and recycling programs.
  3. We can lessen our negative impact on the local and global environment, and even turn that impact into a positive one with simple and intentional actions.

Job Description

Interns will be working on projects in disadvantaged communities and, as such, will learn how to juggle a variety of different levels of work. Tasks will include developing high level plans, carrying out administrative work, and implementing projects in the communities that EGT works in.
