DESCRIPTIF STAGE Relations Internationales a l'Université Catholique de Lyon
Principale mission :

•En charge de l’accueil des étudiants étrangers au sein de toutes les composantes de l’Université Catholique de Lyon (UCLy).

•En lien avec toutes les facultés et écoles tournées vers l’international et plus particulièrement avec les bureaux des étudiants (BDE, FédéKTO)

•Il ou elle aidera à la mise en place et à l’animation d’activités destinées à renforcer et à améliorer l’intégration des étudiants étrangers : organisation de réceptions, ciné-club, soirées thématiques, visites de sites…

•Recherche d’informations sur les universités étrangères via Internet pour développement de nouveaux partenariats et organisation de visites d’universités étrangères

•Secrétariat, classement, traduction de documents


DESCRIPTIF STAGE Institut de Langue et de Culture Françaises

La candidate devra avoir une maîtrise au minimum B2+/C1 de la langue française. Son sens du discernement et de l’organisation devront lui permettre de s’adapter avec souplesse aux temps forts de l’Institut :
•Rentrée universitaire d’environ 450 étudiants, examens officiels du DELF/DALF

•Organisation d’événements, notamment élections du Bureau des Etudiants

•Accompagnement logistique des activités

•Par ses compétences linguistiques il/elle participera également à la traduction et/ou au contrôle de certains documents.


The intern will be responsible for the following activities at the International Relations Office at the Catholic University of Lyon:

•Receive international students and provide orientation
•Develop and maintain relationships with the colleges and departments at the university with an international focus; particularly with the offices of student development

•Coordinate events and activities to facilitate international student integration at the university

•Filing, translation and other office work as needed


The intern will be responsible for the following activities at the Language and Culture Institute at the Catholic University of Lyon:

Candidates must have a mastery of the French language equivalent to 4th or 5th year university French (Le Diplôme d’études en langue française (DELF) B2+/ Diplôme approfondi de langue française (DALF) C1). His/ her ability to multitask effectively in a demanding office environment is important to be able to adapt efficiently to the waves of work responsibilities at the Institute. Responsibilities include:
•Assist with activities and programs aligned with the new academic year

•Assist with administration of DELF and DALF exams

•Coordinate events and activities for international students, specifically elections for the bureau d'étudiants

•Depending on level of language mastery, translation and proofing of documents

•Previous experience in France required

Other Requirements

Maturity, organizational skills, enthusiasm for international relations, highly motivated and a self starter.

IE3 Program Fee

For spring term 2012, the program fee for the first term of any internship is $2950 - $3150. The expected program fee beginning summer term 2012 is $3450 for the first term. You do not pay tuition in addition to the program fee. Visit your University's IE3 page for details, costs for additional terms, and campus administrative fees.

Additional Expense Information

Visa:You must apply for a student visa for the duration of your internship. This requires a trip to San Francisco to apply in person at the consulate and mailing costs for documents to be signed in France and Washington D.C.

Housing:Leads for housing will be provided by the Catholic University and IE3 Global Internships.
