For the past four years, the schools has experimented with a new means of teaching based on chages made in the school hours. Students have courses in the morning and sport and cultural activities in the afternoons. The school has on-site housing for both male and female students.
The French degrees offerred by the Lycée are: Bac série ES (économique et social), L (littéraire), S (scientifique), Section Européenne anglais, productions touristiques, BTS (Brevet de Technicien supérieur) animation touristique locale.
Job Description
Interns will work together closely with the eight English teachers at the school. Each week a schedule will be established for the intern with diverse responsibilities, including: - leading groups in class - conversation groups - internet support for students - leading cultural activities in the afternoon (eg. English conversation clubs) - visits to the nearby College Saint-Stanislaus for students age 11-15 - translation (French-English) - working with texts in English

Academic Background
English, Education, French Language, TEFL, or related major
Skills/Experience
Self-starter, prior experience working with youth, mature and open-minded, ability to work in a team.
Language Ability
Proficiency in French equivalent to 3rd year university level required.
Other Requirements
Prior teaching experience helpful. Prior experience in France preferred.

IE3 Program Fee
For spring term 2012, the program fee for the first term of any internship is $2950 - $3150. The expected program fee beginning summer term 2012 is $3450 for the first term.
