Job Description
Assist in organizing and supporting members working in trade environment, tourism, industrial development, education, & labor relations; organizing seminars; publishing information on trade, exporting markets, & logistics in Trinidad & Tobago. Interns will have opportunities to participate in committee meetings and trade-related events and conferences. Interns can also expect to help out, as needed, with basic office, phone and computer tasks.

Additional Expense Information
Budget a total of approximately $700 per month, including room, board, local travel, incidentals, and recreation. AMCHAM will help intern find reasonably priced room and board. Prices range from $200-$350 per month.
The American Chamber of Commerce (Amcham) is located in Port of Spain, Trinidad in the West Indies of the Caribbean. There is a strong investment climate and this is a great place to learn about international trade and business.
Trinidad & Tobago is well known for its food, beaches, marine life, and Carnival celebrations. The Steel Pan is the only musical instrument developed in the 21st century, and this was developed in Trinidad and Tobago. Hence, the reason for being called, not only the land of the Humming Bird, Limbo and Calypso, but also the land of the Steelband.
