IE3 at University of Montana

IE3 Regional Directors Monya Lemery and Cynthia Engel hit the ground running after disembarking from their prop plane in Missoula, Montana. We spent 4 days visiting the faculty and students at University of Montana, the newest of our partners at IE3 Global Internships. After orienting our first two students who will be departing for China and the UK, Kevin Hood, UM's fearless Campus Advisor set us on our whirlwind adventure.
Our adventure enabled us to meet with the Honors College, Journalism program, School of Business Administration, Environmental Sciences program, and the Intercultural Youth and Family Sciences program and hundreds of students. We are energized and enthusiastic about the support and commitment the faculty, administration and students have demonstrated both for our program and for the value of international experiences for university students in general.
We look forward to working with the great students - we love your attitude! - and the faculty who are clearly committed to maximizing their student's experiences while at UM so they are ready to take on the world!
And our trip would absolutely not have been complete without a short trip outside of town to Lolo for some of the best steaks in Montana! Thanks to Terry Berkhouse, Director of Internship Services at UM and to Kevin Hood, IE3 Campus Advisor in Internship Services, for an outstanding visit. We look forward to coming back!
