IE3 intern heads to Medical School

Ann Oluloro received an IE3 scholarship for summer 2010, and interned abroad with Child Family Health International (CFHI) in La Paz, Bolivia. After graduating from the University of Oregon, she was accepted into five different medical schools and has accepted the offer from Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). University of Oregon International Projects Fair: Michelle Hyde-Wright

The annual University of Oregon International Projects Fair is a showcase for UO undergraduate students to present projects completed during their time spent studying or interning abroad. Successful winter term applications start early

Winter term may be the furthest thing from your thoughts right now, but if you are hoping to intern abroad it pays to get your application started before faculty leave for the summer. In between cramming for finals and soaking up some overdue sun, take time to talk to your professors and advisers. Be sure to do the following:

  • Request recommendations and give each reference a synopsis of your internship goals.
