Participate in the NW Returnee Conference on Education Abroad.
This is an annual conference organized and run by universities and non-profit organizations in the Northwest specifically for students that have recently returned from a academic and work experience abroad (i.e., study abroad or international internship). The conference works to develop a community that allows you to discover international communities in the Northwest, share your experiences with friends and fellow students, learn to apply your experiences abroad to your future career, and to explore opportunities to go abroad again. To learn more visit the conference website at http://www.nwreturnee.com/ .
You can also check out the "What's Up with Culture?" re-entry section
What's Up With Culture? is an interactive, online learning tool. Working through the re-entry section of the website will give you suggestions for integrating your learning abroad into your future plans and transitioning back to your home culture gracefully. Each module of the website is designed to stand alone as well as support the full site, so you do not need to read all modules to understand any one of them.
