All interns must be enrolled for academic credit for the duration of the internship. There is no minimum enrollment, however many interns prefer to remain full-time students in order to apply financial aid.

Although interns are responsible to a faculty member on their home campus for academic credit, both interns and faculty should keep in mind that the internship itself is the focus of the students' time abroad. Projects requiring additional work should be scheduled appropriately so as not to conflict with the intern's work schedule.
