Orientation Checklist

There are several tasks and assignments you will need to complete prior to attending your Pre-departure Orientation. We know there is a lot to keep track of regarding preparation for your IE3 internship, so we have complied a checklist to assist you.

Pre-Departure Orientations are offered twice a quarter for students in Oregon and Washington. Please visit the Upcoming Events section for further details regarding Pre-Departure Orientation dates for your specific term. Plan to come dressed in business casual attire for orientation.

You will also need to complete the following items before attending your Pre-Departure Orientation:

  • Log into your online application and complete the RSVP Pre-Departure Orientation for the orientation you will be attending.

  • Attend a mandatory Billing, Health, and Safety Webinar. Once you have registered for a session, you will be sent important login information. It is important to note that you will need to access the internet AND be able to call into the webinar. Click on one of the links below to register for a webinar.

  • Complete Orientation Homework Questionnaire in your online application by the Wednesday before your scheduled Pre-Departure Orientation, so your Regional Director will have adequate time to review your responses. Also, complete the sections of the handbook sampler intended for your input, and bring them to the orientation. This homework is designed to help you prepare in a number of different ways for living and working abroad, and to provide you with a resource you can use once you arrive on site.
